The Capital Markets Authority(CMA) Kenya in partnership with capital markets industry participants organized a three-day Capital Markets Open Day from 4th May, 2017 to 6th May 2017 at KICC.
The event attracted stakeholders from professional and business fraternity, national and county governments as well as the general public and was aimed at promoting awareness of the services and products provided by the financial industry. Professionals and investors had an opportunity to engage market intermediaries during scheduled B2B sessions. Themed conference sessions addressed various topics including, exchange traded funds, business incubation, the listing process and investing in the capital markets.
Africa Risk Institute(ARI) was among the exhibitors at the Open Day. Other exhibitors included CMA, the Central Depository and Settlement Corporation, Listed companies, Banks, Fund Managers, Private Equity and Venture capital firms, Investment banks and Investment advisors.
The ARI booth was a beehive of activities with hundreds of enquiries about our array of services. Students got an
opportunity to learn more about the premier student program-the Kenya Capital Markets Program(KCMP) for Students whose pilot class kicks off on 5th June 2017.
